WinPH is a winsock-based CCSO PH (phonebook) client program. It runs under
windows, and is a 32bit program. If you're trying to use this under Win3.x,
you'll need to install WIN32s. See below for instructions on where to ftp

Information about the program
Version 1.5, which is the current release, is an all C++ release. It's
written under Optima++
v1.0 (nice!). It talks directly to winsock v1.1. Optima execs, unfortunately,
requires that you install Win32S in order
to function properly under Windows 3.x and Windows for Workgroups 3.x.

Totally rewritten in C, and talks directly to Winsock. Appears to
have licked the font problem. Lots of new features.
- WINPH now caches the server list on your hard drive, so you don't need
to download it often.
- You can now easily enter the address of a server that's not in the
list.
- You can change the font of both the input and output windows.
- WINPH indicates which server it's talking to in the title bar.
- FAST! 10-12x faster. C++ rules over Visual Basic speedwise.
- July 26, 1996: v1.0.7
- Fixed typo that prevented you from actually changing servers.
- July 12, 1996: v1.0.6
- Fixed problem with 16bit font objects. For real, this time, i
hope.

certain fonts (Lucida Console, fe)
- Fixed problem with displaying data recieved from very slow servers.
- Fixed size of the 16 bit distribution.
- Optimized a few internal things.
- June 25, 1996: Initial Public release, version 1.0.4
