These pages are intended to help you compile MIT Kerberos V5 v1.0 under windows. They are a guide that I snapped together in about an hour, based on the work I've done over the last few days.

I hope to make this a bit prettier when I have some more time, giving pointers to precompiled archives as well as patched source trees for those who want them.

You may need to edit the kerberos.ini file and specify the location of your krb.con file if it will not be in c:\windows.

The KRB.CON file is the same as the one that would need to be on a unix host running V5 kerberos. If you download one, remember to do CR-LF translation on it-- during betas, anyway, incorrect EOL chars would cause the programs to segfault.

You will need to put both the kerberos.ini file and krb.con file in your C:\WINDOWS or C:\WINNT directories in order to have these programs work.
